Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: February 16, 2026

By downloading, installing, or using the PlotMe mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

1. Grant of License

MindMap Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the App Store Toolbar/Usage Rules.

Ownership: This is a license, not a sale. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights.
Restrictions: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or create derivative works of the App.

2. Account Tiers & Usage

Guest Mode: Allows for up to two (2) trackers. Data is stored locally on your device only.
Free Accounts: Requires authentication (email/password). Allows for up to eight (8) trackers.
Pro (Paid) Subscription: Provides unlimited trackers and optional cloud backup features.
Fair Use: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Billing: Pro subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Refunds: All billing and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. MindMap Ventures LLC does not have the authority to issue refunds for App Store purchases.

4. User Content & Data

Your Data: You own the data you input into PlotMe. By using the "Cloud Backup" feature (Pro only), you grant us a limited license to host and store that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you track. PlotMe is a tool for personal tracking and is not a substitute for professional medical or legal advice.

5. Privacy & Security

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. While we use industry-standard encryption (via Supabase) for cloud backups, you acknowledge that no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. If you delete the App or your account, all locally stored data and cloud-backed data will be permanently deleted.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINDMAP VENTURES LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA LOSS WILL NEVER OCCUR.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINDMAP VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Massachusetts.
